Bogdan Kanyuka — Ceramic and Sculptural Practice

Sculpture and ceramics as material research
and artistic inquiry

BO is a ceramic and sculptural direction within the broader artistic practice of Bogdan Kanyuka.

The project focuses on form, volume, and material presence, approaching sculpture as a physical language rather than an image. Using clay as a primary material, Kanyuka explores simplified forms and archetypal structures that function as bodies — carrying memory and meaning through material itself.

This direction is research-based and process-oriented, developed through experimentation, observation, and study of traditional sculptural forms within a contemporary context. BO exists as an extension of Kanyuka’s ongoing artistic research across printmaking, ceramics, and object-based practices.
